Our client first approached Jaz Wiggins Contractors with an idea to extend their living space and create an open-plan kitchen dinner. We worked closely with our clients to understand their priorities for the area and how we can best help make their dream kitchen space, utility room, and snug.
We then worked alongside Morlan Building Contractors to finalise extension plans for the space.
Upon completion of the extension, we could go into the property and finaliase the preparation for the final installations.
Our client requested underfloor heating to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We meticulously planned circuits tailored to each zone for optimal heating control and flexibility. We used Warmup Pro Wire, DCM Pro Matting & DCM Pro Cable to make the underfloor heating.
As well as underfloor heating, it was also a priority for the family to have easy access across the floor. So bringing the flooring up to all one level was a priority.
We used a different style of flooring in the snug to highlight this was a separate area. We used Amtico flooring laid in herringbone style. You can see the completed flooring in the images below.
The kitchen was a FairFord supplied by Howdens, using Navy for the main island and a lighter Dove Grey for the main kitchen cabinets. The utility room also included the Howdens FairFord range. The kitchen also had state-of-the-art NEFF ovens with a Bosch 5-ring induction hob.
